I just got mine at 2:30 and I’ve been watching it now for a bit. It’s wonderful! I read all the reviews and my only concern was attaching the stand. That did prove problematic, but, I used the tiniest bit of chewing gum on the end of the screw to create a bond between the screw and the screwdriver. (Gum must be chewed first:)) It worked well. You could also use art gum or the tacky stuff that teachers always use to hang posters in classrooms.
Ordered on the 26th and delivered on the 29th by FedEX; packaged well. Ladies, you can manage this by yourself. It’s very lightweight even while in the box, and the instructions are easy to follow.
I don’t know lots about TVs but I know what I like. I feel like I’ve come into the 21st century! Well, except for the rotary dial phone…
4 Stars no headphone jack (Analog Audio Output)
Overall a nice TV in its price range, we paid 260 the day after Christmas. We returned the same TV earlier, which we paid 300 because we decided to get Sony but saw attractive price so bought it again. Anyway, it has all those qualities mentioned by other reviewers. Just wanted to add about analog audio output. Amazon described “Analog Audio Output: Yes” under Product Features and Technical Details but it is not true. There is no analog audio output, it has only one audio output and which is digital. You will need adapter like this Digital Audio To Analog Audio Converter and y-cable like this 2 x RCA Male / 1 x 3.5mm Stereo Female, Y-Cable, 6 inch. Adapter comes with toslink (optical cable) so you don’t need to buy one. I checked brand name TVs from manufacturers websites and all come with digital audio output. This feature will not matter for most people but a big matter for us who live in small apartment and wanted TV in every room and wanted to watch in high volume, especially at nights. I hope Amazon will fix its error.

PS2: This TV is assembled in Mexico (in case you don’t like made in China).
PS3: I was thinking of this TV Sylvania LC321SSX 32-Inch HD Flat Panel LCD TV, which has headphone jack but it won’t fit in the place we wanted to put a new TV.
5 Stars Great Value for Top Brand!
This LCD is perfect for a modest-sized bedroom. The picture is what you expect from a Panasonic, but the kicker is the IPOD integration with a very useful interface (lets you listen to songs and watch MPEG4 videos on your IPOD on a full screen), and a SD slot for photos to boot. Accessing the songs/videos on your IPOD is very easy since there is essentially a dedicated button for it on the remote (which is anything but flimsy). Having 3 HDMI inputs is almost overkill but I guess you can never have too many. I was lucky enough to get this for $260 but even at $300, it is a great value. The sound is more than adequate, especially for a bedroom-sized area, and the overall look of the TV is fine. Now, if I can only find an indoor antenna that picks up all my local stations…
5 Stars Not Dissapointed
I bought this TV to give to someone as a gift. I was worried because it was cheap and of the negative reviews for the viewing angle. I cannot understand the viewing angle complaints. The viewing angle is fine. I have a 23 inch Samsung that has a worse viewing angle. On the Panasonic, you literally have to be all the way at the end of the TV for the picture quality to depreciate to the point where it is no longer enjoyable. Viewing angles for small TVs generally are not great. The sound is great and the Ipod dock is wonderful. It is great to watch all the videos you downloaded on a larger screen and use the TV remote. I wish there were more audio hook up options but the speakers are decent. I was stuck between this TV and the 26 inch Samsung but I am glad I chose this one. The negative reviews for the Samsung 26 inch TV dying after a year scared me away. Plus, Consumer Reports rates Panasonic as one of the TV brands that has the least problems. I am thinking about buying another one for my room. This is a great deal!
4 Stars Great TV for the price but…
Has a great picture, easy to use. Things that make me give it 4 instead of 5 stars:
Stand installation. There are four phillips screws that affixes the stand to the screen. This would be simple enough, but the screws need to set in recesses of about 1 1/4″, and the recesses don’t guide the screw. I did it by lightly taping the screw to the screwdriver tip and guiding it blindly straight down until I could feel the screw engage.
Outputs. The only audio output is an optical, so if you want to run sound through an older A/V system with RCA inputs only, you’re out of luck.
