3 Stars Worked immediately but…
The adapter worked immediately upon plugging it in to my 15″ i7 MacBook Pro, however, I have also noticed that it is cropping the edges of the screen. Am still in the process of figuring out how to fix this….

This adapter worked exactly the way it was advertised and I was watching movies and other media from my Macbook Pro on My Sony LCD HDTV within minutes. The price cannot be beat, considering Apple doesn’t make this adapter at all and the one they do make (to convert form mini displayport to DVI) costs around $30. I would recommend this to anyone looking to view output from their Mac on a high def TV.
5 Stars just what I needed to connect tv to computer!
This is just what I needed to connect my tv to computer. I already had an HDMI cable that we used to connect our DVD player to our tv, so I hooked this cable from my tv to this adapter, and it worked great! Once you plug the adapter from your computer to your tv, you do have to make sure you have the correct settings, both on your tv and on your computer. And you have to get an audio cable, to go from your computer’s headphone jack to the tv. However, this product was exactly what I needed to hook up my laptop to my tv, so that I could watch netflix on our big screen!

It works well. Just remember the Mac’s video port does not and can not carry audio. You’ll need a DIN-8 ( can’t recall ) cable to send the audio out.

Not happy with this item at all. A HDMI cable should have sound along with it. But Apple didn’t think of that. I’m sure down the road they will. They charge way too much for software and items for there computers.

5 Stars What a awesome TV especially for the price
I picked this TV up this weekend and all I can say is WOW. Set up was easy. A little note to those who think they received the wrong stand, the stand slides into a slot on the bottom of the TV. It took my girlfriend pointing this out while I kept trying to rest the TV on the stand and making the holes line up. The first thing we did was put in a BD movie and the contrast and clarity was everything you could want in a HD TV (outside of a LED). The room it is set up in is kind of bright but the picture quality was barely affected. Once the room was dark everything was ultra vivid. Highly recommend this one.
5 Stars Love Samsungs
This is my second LCD from Samsung. I read a lot of reviews for a few months before I made my decision on what to buy, and Samsung LCD’s were consistently in the top 3 best TV’s. Yes, there are better 46″ TV’s out there, particularly the LG 47LH90, but for the price the Samsung cannot be beat. It’s between $300-$500 cheaper than the LG. Picture quality is good right out of the box, but it gets even better if you use a picture set up disc, like DVE on blu-ray. My only complaints are the remote, I don’t like how some of the most used buttons are placed, and the speakers, which could be a little better. TV is a great buy from argubaly the best LCD manufacturer.

I recently moved and hadn’t bought anything for myself in a quite a while, so I did. The picture on this TV is phenomenal. In fact, some of the pictures even look as if I’m watching the show in 3D they’re so good. Best upgrade I have ever made.
2 Stars Great TV, Software is Crap
TV is great. Bought it so I could view my movies stored on my PC. PC Share Manager software is crap! Showed half first movie, then produced CODEC error for remaining files of movie. Same story on second and third movie. If I did not like the TV so well, would return because the advertisement on the software is totally untrue. Let me be perfectly clear, the Samsung PC Share Manager is total crap! Buying an XBox 360 so I can use Window Media Center to show my movies on the TV from my PC. Again, great TV, software and support, total crap!

I was very pleased with my purchase. The picture quality is fantastic and you can really see the difference when you flip back and forth from HD to non-HD programming (HD is especially great for sports that have good colors, golf and football for example). The delivery was quick and setup by CEVA was pretty good, as they de-box and install it to show you the blue screen.

5 Stars Signal Quality Drastically Improved
We recently bought an high definition television (with associated high def. cable box) and discovered signal loss in both the TV reception and our Internet connection. I installed this product at the point of entry into the house and solved all of our issues (TV reception and Internet). This particular product only has one output so this was my only option (one of the cable connections is used to power the booster). The output then went to another splitter which provides cable outlets throughout the house as well as high-speed Internet. I have six cable outlets (one high definition TV box) and one high speed Internet outlet being served by this booster with no issues. It made me look good with a skeptical family.
5 Stars Great signal booster for broadcast DTV
We live in the shadow of a hill. I installed a big Winegard HD7084P antenna on a chimney mount and we pulled in all the channels we needed, but a few were a little iffy and needed some twiddling of the antenna rotator. Our DTV converter box reported at most 52 channels with some channels hovering around 14% on the antenna meter. During some weather conditions we were losing signal and missing the two or three shows we watch a week. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of installing a preamp on the mast, so I bought the Motorola amp. The unit feels solid. I like the gold-plated connectors, especially the weather-sealed coax power connector. I hooked everything up, rescanned, and got 70+ channels. The borderline 14% channel is now regularly reporting 54% strength with no pixelation or dropouts. Everything else up to 70% and 80%. I’m very pleased with this unit’s ease of installation, build quality, and performance. It’s one of the best A/V purchases I’ve made.

Went to my local Electronics store they wanted 29.99 for some generic signal booster so I bought this online. It was easy to hook up and worked great. Now my cable company is changing the signal again. So we will see if it will do anything to mess things up.

2 Stars Zinwell ZAT-970A reception
On paper, this unit had all of the features that we wanted. And in a good reception area, it might work fine. But we are in a “fringe area” and could only receive one station where the box we were replacing received about 15 stations. Also, in the passthrough mode the reception for the analog stations degraded so much that the box was was useless.
