1 Star Worked for 30 Minutes
I should have paid more attention to the reviews of this driveway patrol sensor and receiver kit! It was shipped promptly and arrived in the time that was estimated. I put fresh batteries in both units and the sensor and receiver worked fine. I checked them again after 30 minutes. The red light on the sensor flashed when I walked in front of it, but there was no alarm. If I actually rubbed my hand across the sensor, the alarm would go off. I replaced the batteries in both units with more fresh batteries. Still, the alarm went off only when I physically touched/rubbed the sensor.

Not that great of an item. It goes off all the time. I have to turn it off at night, before i go to bed. I wouldn’t buy another..
5 Stars Another practical use for this sensor
I bought this specifically to be used inside my car. My apartment has an open-air garage where cars are parked underneath the apartments. The cars are out of site from above and there have been several break-ins and thefts over the years.
I position the sensor unit in my car so that it only activates when someone opens the car door and not just walk by. The unit works great and transmits the alarm anywhere in my third story apartment!
The one thing on my wish list would be that the unit would have come with an AC adapter…I would have paid the extra to have it with the unit!

COMPLAINT FIRST….SLIPSHOD DELIVERY!!
I WAITED ALL DAY ON SCHEDULED DELIVERY DAY… MY PARCEL NEVER ARRIVED… EARLY THAT EVENING A NEIGHBOR/FRIEND FROM OVER A BLOCK AWAY WALKED UP TO MY DOOR CARRYING MY PARCEL!!!.WTH??.. HE STATED IT HAD BEEN DELIVERED TO THEIR HOME EARLIER IN THE DAY AND HE’D JUST FOUND THE TIME TO BRING IT OVER…GOOD THING WE KNEW EACH OTHER HUH.??
SO WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE DELIVERY MAN.?? INATTENTION, IN A HURRY, CARELESSNESS, FATIGUE, NEGLIGENCE.?? WHATEVER THE PROBLEM WAS THERE’S NO ACCEPTABLE EXCUSE.!!!
HE GOT ON THE RIGHT STREET, I LIVE IN THE 1000 BLOCK, MY ADDRESS WAS CORRECT ON THE SHIPPING LABEL, BUT MY NEIGHBOR LIVES IN THE 900 BLOCK…BIG DIFFERENCE IN NUMBERS…SURE GLAD I WASN’T EXPECTING EMERGENCY SERVICES.

THEY WORK AS STATED, I’VE USED THEM BEFORE, MY OLD ONE LASTED APPROX 4-YEARS, NO COMPLAINTS, NO PROBLEMS… I USE THESE FOR UNIVITED VISITORS WONDERING AROUND MY YARD IN THE DARK… THEY WORK EXCELLENT AS PROWLER/BURGLAR ALARMS…
