5 Stars Wonderful lcd tv for an incredibly great price. Look no further.
I recently purchased this for my upstairs bedroom to replace my old 32″ picture tube tv. All I can say is that I didn’t expect it to be such an amazing difference when watching tv and dvds in bed. I already have experience with the Samsung LCDs since I bought a 46″ for my living room last Christmas and I’m absolutely loving it.

Watching HD tv on this is incredible. Crystal clear. Watching DVDs is even better. I don’t even have a BluRay player, however, the quality of the images on this 32″ is quite amazing. For $439, I don’t believe there is a better value out there. Buy and enjoy!

5 Stars Wow!
Beautiful picture. Attractive and sturdy.

This is “only” 720p (although it WILL accept a 1080P signal just fine) and not “120 Hz” but here are a few things to think about.

In 32″, the pixel density is higher than a 52″ at 1080p. Unless you use it as a computer monitor or sit very close, your eyes just can’t pick up the additional detail. “120 Hz” is a buzz word and it is true that faster is better in LCDs but you need to look deeper. A low quality panel that is “120 Hz” will not be satisfactory. On the other hand, a high quality 60 Hz panel will be more than sufficient. Not to say there are not high quality 120z panels but the cost will obviously be significantly more.

In my opinion, this is a very high quality panel and spending more is a waste for the vast majority of people. I paired this with the Panasonic BD60 and the results are phenomenal. Up-scaled DVDs look gorgeous and I really don’t think that you could tell the difference between Blu-ray from across the room (again, pixel density). Viewing angle is better than I expected, contrast is great, blacks are so black that you almost can’t tell the difference in a dark room between the black next to the frame and the frame itself. Screen is slightly matted so reflections are manageable. Verdict is still out on the sound, these speakers are better than I was expecting but have not had it long enough to be sure if they can stand on their own in all cases (loud movie action).

It seems like there is a feature slope in televisions that it is hard to know where to buy in at. I have to admit that even after ordering this unit, I was unsure if I should have forked out a little more. After experiencing this, however, I have absolutely no regrets. I think that in a 32″ it should be easy if you are able to separate yourself from the buzzword hype. Why pay for pixel density your eye literally cannot see? Even worse, why buy a “faster” panel that is poorer quality?

5 Stars So far, very good
Our old CRT TV flatlined today so we decided it was time to get a new widescreen format TV. I couldn’t even program our TiVo without a working TV and the college bowl games are coming up so time was of the essence. We have a standard def cable box and an analog only TiVo, so HD is not important to us, but everything in the stores these days is HD. I had narrowed it down to the Panasonic and the Samsung. The Panasonic was $50 cheaper and the reviews and Consumer reports ratings were almost identical on the models I could find. When I saw that Best Buy and Amazon had virtually identical prices ($2 difference), I decided to go pick one up today rather than wait for shipping and installation from Amazon. I went there and they had the Panasonic I wanted on display, but none in stock. I started to go to another store that had them in stock, but the manager showed me this Samsung and offered to match the price of the Panasonic. We have a small Samsung in our kitchen and it’s worked fine for a year now, so after testing the sound on this one and verifying that it looked good from different angles, I bought this one. It was a snap to install and my son helped me haul our big old CRT TV back to Best Buy for free recycling. The analog picture is only average, but that’s to be expected; I put in a DVD and checked and I’m very happy with the digital picture and the sound. I love Amazon and especially its service, but you may want to consider doing what I did to get a better price. If any problems pop up with this one, I’ll edit this review.

5 Stars excellent unit
The only thing better than this set is the Amazon price and delivery service. I ordered this set Dec 16 and it was delivered via “standard” shipping Dec 18th! Excellent set… the picture seems almost better than the 50″ 1080 samsung we bought 2 years ago… which has been trouble free btw.

5 Stars So happy I bought this TV
This TV replaced a 32″ CRT Sony that is a few years old. I bought this TV when the Amazon price was $439.00 (December 16, 2009). I did pay WA sales tax of $36.01. I hate paying sales tax when ordering online, don’t you? I selected free shipping and received it on December 18th. I was surprised by how quickly I received it.

I spent a month reading reviews of TVs and even made a master list where I used the process of elimination to figure out which TV brand I wanted (OCD). I was tempted to get a Vizio but I read too many negative reviews of their TVs. Samsung has the best overall quality and customer service based on BBB website and customer reviews. I would’ve gotten a 1080p 32″ TV but all of the knowledgeable people I spoke with online told me that there would be be no noticeable difference at 32″ size with 1080p. They said it’s not worth it until you get to 42″ size. I would research that aspect before you make an LCD TV purchase.

The box arrived in near mint condition. There was a slight indent in the box but there was no damage to the TV. I’m sure that I’m noticing too much but I actually was really happy there was a handle on top of the box. That really makes moving it in the future a breeze. The TV is aesthetically pleasing, very sleek and modern looking.

Setting up the TV is extremely easy. I didn’t hang the TV up, I just put it on its stand. I plugged in my Comcast HD cable box via HDMI, hooked up the DVD player, and plugged in the TV. I popped in my “Aliens” DVD and the picture looked really crisp and clean.

I can’t speak about pixels and all the other technical aspects of the TV. I just know that the picture is really good. Perhaps since I’ve had a CRT all my life I’m too impressed with the picture. The setting were a bit overwhelming to me though. I’m considering buying a calibration disc to adjust the picture settings.

I would absolutely recommend this TV. I’m so glad I listened to the reviewers at Amazon and I’m glad they posted helpful and insightful information about the TV.

5 Stars Great tv
I bought this television at the Black Friday sale and it was well worth the money. It has a great picture, and good sound quality.

5 Stars samsung 32″ TV
We purchased this TV to replace an older HD ready Samsung for a bedroom TV. We love the flat screen, light weight and great picture. All of our TVs are Samsung. You can’t beat the quality and price.

5 Stars Great TV
Fast delivery, easy to hook up, and a great picture. We are so pleased with our new tv.

5 Stars LCD TV
Samsung is one of the best LCD HD TV’s. This is the 2nd one I ave purchased in the last three years…clarity, sound and design…excellent.

5 Stars Good for a 15 x 15 foot room
This TV has crisp clear imaging with the HD channels and does not even show a difference in the regular programming. I love it since I am able to connect to my macbook pro and watch movies. No complaints here so far and I have had for a few weeks. It’s perfect for a 15 by 15 room. The only thing that I wish it had was additional inputs on the side like most flat screens for easy accessibility with game systems, etc.

4 Stars According to Samsung – NOT 120 Hz
I’ve been looking for an affordable lcd with 120Hz refresh. I came across this unit, seeing that the description, in multiple places, claims 120Hz. I also went to Samsung’s (the manufacturer) page for this model. It explictly says the unit does NOT run at 120Hz.

Check it yourself in the Specifications page – ” LCD 120Hz = No”

3 Stars pluses and minuses Samsung 19″ TV
Nice looking, sleek TV. Picture quality and station reception is superior to a Sharp brand in my possession. Problem with fit of power input in back of TV; the plug is NOT a good fit, and I had to tape it down to get the set to work. Sound quality is harsh and tinny. I would have second thoughts about buying it again.Samsung LN19A450 19-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, Black

4 Stars Samsung 19″
Great value and best quality i could find for a small set. the controls are all on the front so you dont have to fumble for them and the design is symmetrical vs. some sets that add curves to the overall dimensions.

5 Stars 99%
The product is great except Amazon has incorrectly listed the item. This model is not “touch of color” Red as its listed. That was the prior model. The corrent modal [this one] is “touch of color” grey.

2 Stars Audio is very week
I purchased this TV last week. The audio is so week you can hardly hear it turned all the way up.

Also, you can not read the controls on the front of the TV. I called Samsung and we reviewed all of the steps re: volume and the volume did’t change. The Samsung Rep. recommended that I purchase a Receiver to improve the volume. I told Him that I also own another 19″ LCD HDTV and it has four times the volume. So I guess thats just the way it is. The picture is really great. I do plan on returning the Samsung and get the other brand. I am very disappointed. I thought the

Samsung was the best.

Samsung UN46B6000 46 Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV

51 tcdlCL9L. SL75 Samsung UN46B6000 46 Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV

The B6000 is the slimmest of any LED TV on the market with tuner inside and the world’s slimmest wall mount solution that reduces the gap between the TV and the wall to less than 0.8 inches.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Impressive TV, almost perfect with couple of relatively minor flaws
Samsung UN46B6000 46-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV

I have had this TV for over three months now and so far I have been very impressed with it overall. Got it at Best Buy in September (contrary to my experience, I got it even cheaper at Best Buy back then, than it was on Amazon), and am surprised, how so far the price has not dropped yet. Actually it has even crept up a little, right now before Christmas.

The first thing that gets your attention after you get it out of the box, is just how stylish and elegant is looks and how amazingly slim and relatively light (as in “not heavy”) it is.

I am not generally an avid TV watcher, however I have given it a pretty good test drive so far, and used it quite a bit, and once again, I am very pleased with the results.

The picture quality is superb… the reason for only four stars is, of course, the not so great audio quality, that everyone else mentions…

but then there is also the issue with the light coming through and bleeding from the edge.

Another reviewer (who gave the TV just one star because of this) mentions this as well, and supposedly this is something common for Samsung TVs. Seems like this becomes more noticeable with time… first couple of weeks I did not see this at all, but now I have been noticing the bright light streak coming from the upper edge of the set. It is not ultra-annoying, and mostly I can live with it, however, especially during the really dark scenes, it becomes noticeable enough and does appear somewhat distracting.

Other than that, I have been very happy with the performance and the quality, and would definitely recommend it to anyone!

4 Stars Very good TV- Not as good as plasma….Yet
I like this TV.

It has a great picture that is almost 3D like. It is a bit disconcerting at first and seems kind of unreal. But once you get used to it, the TV is great. Colors are accurate, the picture detail is very good and the black levels are good for LCD. I seem to have no issue with light bleeding from the corners in dark scenes. My Samsung Plasma still seems a little better on dark scenes but for most people this TV will be more than good enough.

The TV is easy to use and the form factor is fantastic. The TV sits close to the wall so plan ahead on where your cords need to go. The sound is pretty average which is the reason for only 4 stars. I realize this is a thin tv and engineering good sound is difficult but…the sound quality is not great. I would make the trade off for the form factor since I have other speakers to handle the sound. I would not recommend this tv to someone that has a larger room and has no home theater to handle the sound.

4 Stars Good Screen – Not great bang for buck
After about a year and a half of research I bought this TV off of Amazon. I had seen it in a store before I purchased it, and in the store it blew the other TVs around it away.

Having used this TV for about 2 weeks, I can safely say that it has in many ways lived up to my expectation. The color is true to life, the contrast excellent. Motion is seemless, and watching blue-ray movies on the TV is exquisite, and this is with out of the box settings! I have also played many hours of video games on this TV, and the image is mind blowing. My wife was astounded the first time I booted up our Xbox 360, saying “I’ll never play video games on your computer again!” – Not sure if I am happy or sad about that one… Even for action games and FPS’s this TV has had seemless visuals with no bluring, slowdown, or anything else I’ve heard negative about LCD/LED TV’s. Many people complain that LEDs tend to have a washed out white “halo” around the outer rim of their TV, due to the way that the LED “side-lights” the display (in contrast to the “back-light” of an LCD TV. I use this TV in my basement with no other lighting, this is the worst possible scenario for these issues, and I almost never notice a problem. The only time I do notice this is if the lights are off and the screen is pure black (credits to a movie). Otherwise I can’t say I notice this AT ALL.

My complaints about the devices are these:

1) It isn’t true 120hz

2) Isn’t best bang for the buck

This TV claims to be 120hz, but is really 60hz with “auto-motion plus,” a feature that digitally inserts extra frames based on some sort of average of the current and next frame. This creates an artificial 120hz. I’ve found this system to be great for high quality images, as it gives me a fluid and realistic feel, which is almost creepy. On the other hand, this technology doesn’t always do the images favors, and I’ve found when this technology is applied to standard definition video the effect is less then desirable. It is almost as if the feature accents problems with the image, making poor lighting and non-fluid movement obvious. That said, you can turn the feature off, but its burried in a complex menu system, and is a pain to toggle. I bought this TV thinking it was true 120hz, but I was wrong. Still, even with true-motion turned off action scenes are without skip, and look great.

My last and final complaint is that for the price this TV is quite as nice as I would have hoped. If it were a true 120hz this TV would be a 5 star purchase, but what you are really paying for is the LED factor, and not for the other features. All in all the interface, remote, and construction is top notch. Performance is admirable, but the TV is expensive, and I’ve seen LCD tvs for hundreds less that can compete with this TV in most departments.

A definite buy if you must have an LED TV. If you can go with LCD I’d consider buying something else.

4 Stars Wonderful Picture/Bad Sound
This is our first flat screen! After looking at Lcds, the Led had a better crisper picture.Sports are unbeliveable.Sound is lost because of the thin frame. You must have extra speakers.Christmas Holidays brought the price down.we will not have anything less.

B&S

4 Stars Overall a wonderful TV
I’ve had this TV for about 3 weeks now, and overall I think this is a great package.

I was most attracted to this because of a specific mounting location that called for a thin profile, it solves that problem beautifully! I mounted it on and it sits flush against the wall, and looks great!

Looking good is important, but even more important is how it performs. The picture is incredible – you can make the picture look exactly the way you want with the extensive user settable adjustments. Cable HD signals look good, Blu Ray looks even better and even SD signals from cable look OK – overall I’d say the picture is as good as I’ve seen in a family room setting.

Unfortunately the sound from the built in speakers is a little weak, but for general TV viewing, certainly acceptable. If you’re going to do a lot of movie viewing, you might be happier with an external speaker system.

5 Stars Great Television!
We have another 56″ Samsung DLP television and needed a smaller set for a back room. Both sets are terrific. The new set, of course, gets the attention due to the higher 1080P resolution. The setup of the 40″ television was straightforward. The television feed is from DirecTV and we also have a Samsung Blu-Ray player connected. If looking for a solid set with a terrific picture, you can’t go wrong.

5 Stars Great gaming TV
First of all, this is a review on the actual product NOT the shipping and handling or anything else not dealing directly with the TV. I was given this today as a Christmas present and its great. The set-up was extremely easy and straightforward. Took about 10 minutes tops,to put it on the stand and start watching. The picture quality is amazing. If you are a gamer, this is a great TV to hook your system up to. I have a PS3 and it looks stunning. Uncharted 2 on this TV is breathtaking. The thing i noticed while gaming on this TV and a vizio of a similar size is motion blur. There was little to no motion blur when playing on this TV, which is great! The vizio has motion blur with every turn of the camera, it was nauseating. Also, the TVs standard speakers sound great. Pick this up and you will enjoy it. With 4 hdmi ports you can hook up everything and anything you need to. The TV also has all the features you will want such as, a sleep timer, channel back, fave channel feature and relatively quick response times. You won’t be disappointed with this purchase.

5 Stars samsung lcd tv
the picture on my samsung lcd is so clear, i have been debating if i really need a hi definition input. so far, i am just using my cable input. the other wonderful surprise was that the delivery man made sure my tv was in good working order before he left. some of amazon’s competitiors wanted to charge another $150 to do this.

4 Stars Good TV at the price but..
This is an excellent TV at the price. It has pretty much everything that I was looking for at this price point. Its been only a month since I got it and so far no issues.

Only reason I gave 4 stars to it was due to the uselessness of the ethernet port provided. It is kind of misleading. You’ll expect the TV to be DLNA compliant (or have DLNA capability, whatever..) but it does not have that. It simply gets you data for three not-so-useful widgets. There are so many capabilities once you add an ethernet port which are not being provided. It could be Samsung’s way of differentiating between different models but then why provide an ethernet port in the first place.

Other than that no issues whatsoever.

1 Star I shouldn’t have to pay more for a replacement!!!
Delivery was great. Arrived on time and set up the TV for me.

I couln’t get the HDMI ports to work. Had the cable company come. They tried three HD boxes and two HDMI cables. Said the problem was the TV.

I called Samsung. They arranged for a new board to be shipped and arranged a repair time. The repair person had the same problem after he replaced the board. No HDMI ports worked. Said that they would have to send a new main board. After the next board was installed, they decided that the TV was not repairable. They gave me a number to call at Samsung to arrange a replacement.

Samsung did not have the same TV available. They said I could get a lesser model in exchange. If I want at least all the options I had before I would have to pay an additional $198.00. This is ridiculous.
