5 Stars Works Well, Solution to Cover Issue
Someone gave me an Itouch as a gift as my Palm E2’s battery was dying after 3 years. Having used a stylus for nearly 10 years, it was difficult to text – and it’s really tough on the early stage arthritis. As well, using the Itouch was a challenge because my fingers are thick and even in landscape mode I was making 30% mistakes in the typing. I was so frustrated I was about to buy an HP Ipaq to find a working PDA.

Then someone told me that I can buy a stylus for the Itouch. I purchased the Pogo and it really works wonders! My typing speed is almost as fast as on the Palm (in handwriting mode).

Cover Issue: one person said one had to choose between the clip for the stylus or a cover. I solved the problem by buying a silicone cover, covering over the clip, then cutting a small section of the cover around the clip part so it can stick out.

But I do agree with the another reviewer. The foam seems to be mushing rather quickly so I don’t know how long it will last. Other than that,

I’m now a happy camper!

3 Stars Hit or Miss functionality
When using the stylus on the Zune HD it works perfectly. Every press, swipe and the such registers smoothly and instantly. However, when it comes to my HTC Eris it becomes a hit or miss situation. A firm press is often needed.

The feel of the item itself is that of being light and cheap. Which it was, price wise, so I guess that’s not much of a complaint. On the Zune this is fine. On the HTC which requires firm presses I worry it may break.

3 Stars It’s Apple’s fault, not Pogo’s
Basically all this thing is good for it pushing buttons and drawing like a child. But it’s Apple’s fault, not the manufacturer’s. The stylus works as advertised, more or less.

I bought this mostly for the iPad, though i’ve used it on the iPhone with similar results. It’s a little short for the iPad but I knew that in advance, and it was in stock so I went for it.

The problem is that Apple isn’t designing its devices for styli (apparently Jobs thinks they’re dumb), and as a result this stylus is not very useful. Apple built their hardware and software for fingers. As a result, this stylus doesn’t give you much more fine control than a (smallish) fingertip. It’s like drawing with a magic marker. That’s OK for goofing around, but you can’t jot useful notes, or mark up the margins of documents (my main desire on the iPad).

As another complaint, you CANNOT rest your hand on the glass while you write, or the multitouch screen picks up your hand as well as the stylus. I am fairly sure that could be corrected for in software, but very likely it would be app-specific until Jobs and co drop their hate for styli.

All in all, probably not worth the money unless some good predictive writing software comes out for iPad/iPhone.

1 Star Does not work for iPhone
I bought this because I have longer nails and wanted to have a little easier method for working on my iPhone but this does not work at all. How did all the persons that gave good reviews make it work, I want mine to work.

4 Stars Good but not perfect
Smaller than I thought, which is good, and the clip does fit my 1st generation iPod touch. The tip is made of some kind of foam material, which is weird. I thought it would be denser and more solid, but this works. You have to press rather than just tap like with your finger. Seems like it will be good for drawing and stuff though so I’m happy. :)
